Most breaking news today is that ,a leading director / producer / distributor Lingusamy has sent a press statement to the media explaining that the screening of the movie Inam will be stopped in all theaters, with effect from today,i.e., 31st March onwards. The said film was released on friday in Tamil Nadu by Lingusamy's production, Thirrupathi Brothers.
Lingusamy adds that this move has been taken in order to avoid any political and security related complications, at a time when the elections are just around the corner. He maintains that he has utmost love and respect for Tamil people and their feelings so that he is ready to take the loss for stopping the screening of the film.
There was a stiff opposition from certain political parties.Moreover 4 scenes were removed and 1 dialogue was muted just before Inam released in theaters on Friday.
