Speculations ran high that the pretty actress would face problems from a few organisations who had objected to her acting in a film without completing “Oor Suttri Puranam” directed by Director Kalanjiam. Despite all rumors that commitng her may land up in trouble, Anjali said, “You just saw me completing my first shot for this film with Ravi. So, I am not scared. When asked about for her sudden re-entry She said, “I don't want to talk about why I left my house.”
Anjali thanked the entire Tamil industry for supporting her during her bad times. It was rumoured that she took refuge with a leading Tollywood actor who, it is said, secured her from the public glare. Denying this, she said, “It is news to me! I am independent and can take care of myself.” Since the case regarding “Oor Suttri Puranam” is in court, Anjali refused to comment on it, but indicated indirectly that she would not work on that film.
Apart from a rumor about her secret wedding, yet another piece of gossip which was being circulated was that Anjali was suffering from skin problems. she quickly retorts, “Oh, when did my marriage happen without my knowledge?” & also “Just because I walked out of my stepmother’s house, she is spreading such rumors.
